Cementing their global appeal and artistry through a collaborative project, pop superstars BTS and Coldplay are set to release “My Universe” on September 24th.

The news comes just two days after Coldplay opened the pre-orders for their upcoming album Music Of The Spheres, which is scheduled to hit the market on October 15th. BTS will feature on the 10th track, “My Universe.” Sung in both Korean and English, the track reportedly aims to blend sounds, expressions and cultures to show just how global music is. The British pop/rock band further vowed to plant and sustain one tree for every CD, cassette and vinyl purchased from their store.

Late last week, BTS sat down with Coldplay’s Chris Martin to discuss the stories behind their global smash hit “Permission To Dance.” A YouTube Originals exclusive, the latest episode of Released saw the septet breakdown the inspiration behind the track, their growth as artists and watch the stories behind a few selected Shorts from around the world.

Earlier this year in February, BTS performed at MTV’s iconic series Unplugged where they presented a cover of Coldplay’s super hit track, “Fix You.” The performance gained worldwide praise, including appreciation from Coldplay themselves, sparking fans’ desire for a collaboration between both bands.
