BTS Announce ‘Permission To Dance Stage’ Online Concert

Newly appointed diplomats to the Republic of South Korea, pop group BTS have announced their second virtual concert.

The ‘BTS Permission To Dance Stage’ follows last year’s outstanding ‘Map of the Soul ON:E’ concert which took place in October 2020 and drew almost a million paid viewers over its two-day run. Announced via the global fan community platform Weverse, the notice for ‘BTS Permission To Dance Stage’ indicated the show will begin at 6:30 PM KST (3 PM IST) on October 24th and will be streamed live with special effects and cutting-edge technology like Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Technology (XR). Additional details regarding ticketing are yet to be revealed.

News of the concert comes two days after BTS confirmed their upcoming collaboration with iconic British pop/rock band Coldplay on the track “My Universe.” Co-written by both groups, the track will feature on the British quartet’s forthcoming album, Music Of The Spheres. 

The week has been a rather busy one for BTS–with the septet becoming the first idol group from South Korea to own reputable diplomatic passports, the global pop stars have also been appointed special envoys of the President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in. The members are scheduled to attend the UN General Assembly along with President Moon and will be delivering a speech aimed at uplifting morale and hope among youngsters around the world.
