Global pop sensations BTS’ week is off to a great start– with multiple records under their belt, the septet’s latest release “Butter” has made its way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Billboard Global 200, and the Billboard Global chart (excluding the USA), making the group the fourth artist in Billboard Hot 100’s history to debut with the most Number Ones.

The digital single has also earned the group its seventh Number One spot on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, breaking their own record. “Butter,” which holds stellar records such as the biggest debut on the Spotify Global Charts with 11.04 million streams, largest single-day streams in Spotify history with 20.9 million streams, the most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube with 3.9 million concurrent viewers and the most viewed video in 24 hours with a remarkable view count of 108.2 million views, is one of the group’s most successful releases till date.

Previous hits from BTS to debut at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 chart includes the group’s first all English single, “Dynamite”, “Savage Love (Laxed Siren Beat)”– the septet’s collaboration with Jason Derulo and Jawsh 682– and “Life Goes On” from their 2020 record BE, which also made history as the first Korean song to debut at Number One.

Celebrations will continue as the group welcome their eighth-anniversary festivities, BTS Muster SOWOOZOO, with two global live-streamed events scheduled for June 13th and 14th.
