BTS’ Jimin Looks Fetching to a Fault in Dior Men’s Spring 2024 Campaign
In the campaign photoshoot, the K-pop sensation wears the line’s items in both casual and formal outfits. This came after Jimin was chosen as the brand’s global ambassador
The 2024 Men’s Spring Collection campaign for Dior, the French multinational luxury fashion brand, was unveiled, starring Jimin, the BTS member, rocking the line’s merchandise with his inimitable style looking fetching to a fault. The K-pop sensation uploaded a carousel post with the images on his Instagram profile yesterday. This came following Jimin’s being named the brand’s global ambassador.
Based on a post on HYPEBEAST, British designer and Dior Creative Director Kim Jones showcased his Spring/Summer 2024 runway collection in June at Paris Fashion Week. With a tribute to those who came preceding him across Dior’s signatures, the collection commemorates his fifth anniversary at the luxury label.
The campaign photoshoot features Jimin in a selection of casual and formal ensembles: a sweater vest with the brand name utilized with an eased striped shirt, an argyle-patterned sweater donned with a buttoned-up shirt, a Prussian blue suit with a brooch and scarf styled seeming to rely on nautical fashion, a sophisticated slimming suit in gray, and a pale blue sweater carried with a backpack—all precisely knit, tailored, and fashioned to an effect that underscores Jimin’s arresting presence—juxtaposed with an inviting, sunlit natural setting outdoors, alternatively a homogeneous wall background indoors. The pictorial includes images in black and white and colors, carefully coordinated and taken to complement the grandeur of the collection and the colors of spring alongside Jimin’s invariable warmth and allure.
Dior reportedly said that in the collection, which reimagines iconic Kim Jones designs, Jimin has displayed unfettered and flexible ingenuity. That certainly manifests Kim Jones’ creative vision for the highest levels of comfort, luxury, and style.
