The superstar will perform songs from his forthcoming debut album
After officially launching his solo career in July with his latest single “Seven,” BTS‘ Jung Kook is now preparing to take the stage on his own following the release of his debut solo album, Golden.
“We are excited to announce Jung Kook’s ‘Golden’ Live on Stage with the fans on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, celebrating the release of Jung Kook’s solo album, Golden,” BIGHIT Music wrote in a statement shared on Weverse. The show will take place at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea, at 8 p.m. local time, and fans will be able to stream the event featuring performances of tracks from the record.
While this will be his first solo concert, Jung Kook has already hit the stage sans fellow BTS members. In September, he performed at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park and was joined by unannounced guest Latto, who sang her feature on their collab track. His headlining set marked the first time a South Korean solo artist headlined the festival.
Earlier this month, Jung Kook set a release date for Golden, which arrives Nov. 3 and features 11 tracks including the previously released singles “Seven” with Latto and “3D” with Jack Harlow.
“Golden takes its motif from the golden moments of Jung Kook as a solo artist,” Big Hit Music said in a press release. “Known as the ‘Golden Maknae’ (‘golden youngest’ in Korean) of BTS, Jung Kook is set to unveil a new release with his unique timbre that will captivate listeners worldwide.”
