BTS to Drop New Album ‘Be (Deluxe Edition)’ in November
The record will be the South Korean group’s message of healing to the world
Pop superstars BTS have finally announced their much-anticipated upcoming album will be titled Be (Deluxe Edition). Set to drop on November 20th, 2020, the record follows the group’s hit single “Dynamite”–which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks, making BTS the first Korean act to achieve the feat.
The band began working on the album after the cancellation of their ‘Map of the Soul’ world tour due to the global pandemic. Over the last few months, the group immersed themselves in creating a a new album for their fans in the time they would have spent touring and shared the process of making Be on their official YouTube channel BANGTANTV, letting fans in on their meetings regarding various details. For this album in particular, the septet were involved not only in the music making process, but also the concept, composition, design, music videos and more.

According to a press release from the group’s label Big Hit Entertainment, ‘the new album imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, “Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on.” Be (Deluxe Edition) will, according to the press release, reflect the thoughts, emotions and deepest ruminations of BTS and offers an even richer musical spectrum experience, as well as the most “BTS-ish” music yet.
The album will be available worldwide on November 20th with pre-orders opening on September 28th, and will be printed in limited quantities for the first run.
