Indian fans of South Korean pop stars BTS have a new cause to celebrate as the group’s collaborative collection with global sports brand Puma will soon arrive on desi shores.

While the seven-member group–comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook–have been collaborating with Puma in South Korea since 2015, February 2018 saw them sign on as global ambassadors to create BTSxPUMA, a collection of sportswear that will be available in Puma stores worldwide. Currently only available in South Korea, BTSxPUMA is scheduled to launch in other regions this July. India will indeed be on the roster of roll-outs, as confirmed by Puma to Rolling Stone India, eliminating fans’ fear of encountering international shipping fees or missing out on merchandise.

BTS are involved in designing the collection, which includes a remix of the classic Puma Turin and sportswear basics. Similar to their previous ‘Puma x BTS Court Star’ collaboration, the apparel will feature the BTS’ Love Yourself logo with some pieces also featuring the group’s debut date”“20130613 (June 13th, 2013.)

In addition to the creation of the collection, BTS will be involved in Puma campaigns this year for the brand’s Sportstyle range, which includes the Puma Suede range and T-7 Track Suits. A follow-up capsule collection is also set for release this fall.

The expansion of BTS’ brand power to international shores comes as no surprise. Member J-Hope’s recent mixtape Hope World smashed iTunes charts worldwide, hitting Number One in India and 74 other countries. Suga’s Agust D was released on iTunes and Spotify last month, nearly two years after its original upload, only to break into the top 10 charts in countries such as India and Australia, much like BTS’ 2017 EP Love Yourself: Her upon it’s release in September 2017.
