The Mahindra Blues Festival (MBF) returns to Mumbai’s Mehboob Studio on February 8th and 9th, 2020. With its tenth edition all set to roll out, the festival is ready to ring in a celebration following the turn of the decade.
Headlining the festival is American blues legend Buddy Guy who returns to MBF for the fifth time after his 2015 set, Nashville post-modern blues artist Kevin Roosevelt Moore aka Keb’ Mo’ (who returns to the festival for the second time since headlining in 2016), Los Angeles blues-rock outfit Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, American roots rock band Larkin Poe and India’s The Homegrown Blues collective featuring the best of the country’s blues talent.
Anand Mahindra (Chairman, Mahindra Group) says about the festival, “The year 2020 is special for the Mahindra Blues Festival as it is the 10th year since its launch in 2011 at the Mehboob Studios. Since then, we have successfully woven the Mahindra Blues Festival into the cultural fabric of the city of Mumbai.It gives me immense satisfaction to know that as a diversified global business group, we have been able to speak to multi-cultural audiences across continents using the soulful power of the blues. The tickets are priced between INR 3000 and 18,000, with the daily passes starting at INR 3000 and entry for students being priced at INR 1,200 per day. Click here to book your ticket.
