Leaving an audience and city smitten by his charismatic performance last year, Blues legend Buddy Guy will return again to perform at the second edition of the Mahindra Blues Festival to be held on February 11th and 12th, 2012 at Mehboob Studio, Mumbai.

Following up his ‘Shh…I ain’t done yet!’ tease and two-hour-long soul-tripping show, Guy will be headlining the festival alongwith contemporary blues musicians like John Lee Hooker Jr, Robert Randolph and Serbian blues singer Ana Popovic. Joining the league will also be legendary Grammy-award winner Henry Saint Clair Fredericks’s blues outfit Taj Mahal trio.

Except for Randolph, all the artists have made the tour announcements on their websites. We still await official word from the organizers. If last year is anything to go by, the second edition of the Mahindra Blues Festival will be one of the most awaited gigs of the year.
