Ever since its inception a few years ago, Budweiser’s global collaboration platform BudX has been pushing the boundaries of urban culture across music, art, fashion, and lifestyle. Recently, Doha experienced its biggest creator getaway at W Hotel as BudX brought together some of the most badass creative icons from music, art, cinema and pop culture recently.

Even as the world celebrates the spirit of sportsmanship at the ongoing FIFI World Cup, Budweiser, an Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) global brand, kept with its commitment to enable, spotlight and amplify game-changers as part of its campaign #YoursToTake campaign. At BudX Doha, 150 global mavericks found their creative escape via a host of immersive and curated experiences. Representing India at BudX Doha were actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, entrepreneur and fashion designer Masaba Gupta, visual artist Santanu Hazarika, and musician Anushka Manchanda aka Kiss Nuka.

Some of the most memorable performances at BudX included those by Brazilian singer-songwriter Ludmilla, American music star Jason Derulo, Korean DJ and record producer Peggy Gou, British singer-songwriter Craig David, and English DJ Pete Tong. The creators also witnessed a special performance by American rapper Lil Baby – who also celebrated his 28th birthday, which was live-streamed around the world exclusively by META.

For the first time ever, Budweiser shot the music video for the FIFA anthem commissioned by the brand, offering local creators a global platform. The music video of the anthem was shot at Lusail Stadium and other signature Doha topographic hotspots such as the desert and the beach. The much-awaited music video also features Indian artists – Sidhant Chaturvedi, Santanu Hazaraika – alongside rap icon Lil Baby and other global creators. The anthem is all set to premiere on December 18th ahead of the FIFA World Cup finals. As an empowerer of art and subcultures, BudX, in its true fashion, also offered a host of varied experiences such as a limited-edition jacket drop from Verdy, customization stations, the buzzing Bud Club, poolside parties and much more.

BudX Doha coincides with Budweiser India’s ongoing campaign featuring the above-mentioned Indian creators. #YoursToTake campaign spotlights the inspiring stories of these iconic creatives, and the one thing unites them all – marching forward despite the odds.
