U2 Invites Fans To Redesign Achtung Baby Cover

Contribute to a reimagining of the iconic Achtung Baby collage cover art.

In a bid to celebrate 20 years of their resurrection record, Achtung Baby, U2 has tied up with online social platform for musicians, Talenthouse, to recreate the album’s iconic cover art.

Talenthouse has announced a call for entries to contribute to a reimagining of the original collage that featured on the Achtung Baby cover. Fans are required to send in their art impressions (photographs, illustrations, graphic design or paintings) of the 1991 release and its music.

The entries will be judged by U2’s official designer Shaughn Mc Grath and photographer Anton Corbjin. The best 15 cover art designs will be stitched together for a new collage, which will be featured on U2’s website. Winners will also get an SLR digital camera, an Achtung Baby deluxe box-set including additional B-sides and remixes.

One lucky winner will receive a custom-designed, original Achtung Baby-styled Trabant car!
