Coachella 2014: OutKast, Muse, Arcade Fire to Headline

The annual festival announced their full lineup

Published by

The rumors were true: Andre 3000 and Big Boi are joining forces again as OutKast to headline Coachella 2014 on Friday April 11th and 18th. The festival tweeted out the lineup this evening, with the “Hey Ya” referencing message “share it like a polaroid picture.” Muse will anchor the Saturday night slot and Arcade Fire will close out both weekends.

Other big acts featured include Queens of the Stone Age, Pharrell Williams, the Replacements, Beck, Lana Del Rey, the Knife, Foster the People, and Motorhead. Notable newcomers like HAIM, Lorde, and Disclosure also received top billings. On the electronic side, festival mainstays Skrillex, Zedd, Girl Talk and Duck Sauce will appear. Aside from OutKast, the big hip-hop artists include Nas, Kid Cudi, ASAP Ferg and Chance the Rapper.

Now in its 16th year, Coachella is a major annual concert draw to the Palm Springs, California area every April. Tickets for Coachella 2014 have been on sale since May 2013 but the anticipation is clearly high: tonight’s announcement caused Coachella.com to crash within minutes of their tweet.
