The streaming service additionally unveiled the next batch of Korean romantic dramas it will showcase in the coming days, following a series of exciting lineups of K-dramas and movies to be successively released on its platform. See You in My 19th Life
Shin Hye-sun and Ahn Bo-hyun star in this fantasy romantic drama, based on a webtoon of the same name by writer Lee Hey. Ban Ji-eum (Shin), a young woman who has been reincarnating for roughly a thousand years and has an innate capacity to remember past lives, is the centerpiece of the drama, scheduled to premiere on June 17. After her 18th life is cruelly cut short by a tragedy, she decides to reunite and rekindle her relationship with her beloved in her 19th.
King The Land
Additionally set to premiere on June 17, is King the Land with Lee Jun-ho (2PM) and Im Yoon-ah (Girls’ Generation). It relates the tale of Cheon Sa-rang (Im), a hotelier known for her alluring smile until she meets Goo Won (Lee), the heir to the luxury hotel empire she works for, The King Group. As a result of their conflicting personalities progressively drawing them closer to one another, the two engage in a beguiling romance amid a contentious inheritance dispute that Goo Won is thrust into.
Behind Your Touch
This is a story about individuals who reside in a far-flung rural village and is expected to be released on August 12. The premise focuses on Ye-bun (Han Ji-min), a vet with psychometric extraordinary abilities, and Jang Yeol (Lee Min-ki), a zealous detective, who both take part in a probe of crimes. As Jang-yeol begins to count on her expertise to help him with his cases, their relationship deepens.
Destined with You
Lee Hong-jo (Jo Bo-ah) and Jang Shin-yu (Rowoon of SF9) share an enticing romance that is the subject of Destined with You. A forbidden book that was sealed 300 years earlier finds its way into Hong-jo’s hands, with Shin-yu being victimized by the book owing to the curse it wrought. The precise date of release for the drama has not yet been disclosed, although it is planned for this year.
A Time Called You
Two lovers navigate the intricate web of space, time, and perhaps fate in this time-traveling romance fiction. A year after her boyfriend, Yeon-jun (Ahn Hyo-seop), passed away, Jun-hee (Jeon Yeo-been) remains devastated by his loss in the drama set in present times. She discovers a means to return to 1998, where she wakes up in the form of 18-year-old Min-ju. As perplexed as she is, her emotional turmoil increases when she encounters Si-heon while figuring out how to traverse this new reality. Si-heon looks identical to Yeon-jun! The third quarter of 2023 is the projected release date for the drama.
Doona!
The final stretch of this year will mark Doona‘s premiere. The webtoon-based romantic comedy rests on the fortuitous meeting of Won-jun (Yang Se-jong), an average college student, and Doo-na (Bae Suzy), a stunning former K-pop idol when Won-jun moves into a new home. He initially makes a concerted effort to steer clear of her but quickly realizes that her private life is luring him in. As the plot progresses, the two choose to move in together, which sparks romantic feelings.
