Crowdfunding for the fourth edition of the gig series Control Alt Delete has started on Wishberry.in, with less than four weeks to go for the event. Organized by artist management firm Side Stand, independent music label Ennui.BOMB, music gear store Bajaao and independent webzine nh7.in, the pay-what-you-want gig is a much-awaited event on the Mumbai gig calendar this month. The lineup this year includes instrumental rock act Blackstratblues, punk rockers The Lightyears Explode, Kochi alt rock band Black Letters, who play their debut show in the city, alt metallers Goddess Gagged [who are playing their last show with drummer Jeremy D’Souza], Mumbai rock band Laxmi Bomb [comprising alt funk band Aftertaste’s drummer Levin Mendes and vocalist Keegan Pereira], Guwahati alt rockers Digital Suicide and garage punk act Bone Broke.

Like the third edition of the gig, Control Alt Delete will be organized using contributions with free giveaways including compilation CDs to a personal gig by one of the bands on the lineup being promised to the contributors. The gig series also returns to Mumbai’s Sitara Studios after drawing a packed crowd last year, which featured performances by alt rock bands such as Split and Blakc, rap act Microphon3 and electro act Your Chin, among others.

Control Alt Delete 4.0 Lineup:

Blackstratblues

Goddess Gagged

Black Letters

Digital Suicide

Bone Broke

The Lightyears Explode

Control Alt Delete takes place on September 28th, 2013 at Sitara Studios, Mumbai. Entry: Pay what you want. Contribute to Control Alt Delete on their Wishberry page.
