Cosmoprof India 2023: Redefining Beauty Standards with Innovation and Expertise

Cosmoprof India 2023 was a beauty lover’s paradise. From the get-go, the enormity of the event was blatant. Held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from December 7-9th, it was the perfect playground for suppliers, brands, retailers, distributors, and professionals.

The event’s purpose was to encourage the exploration of cutting-edge trends and product launches, engage in discussions on evolving consumer behaviors, and delve into the strategic significance of India as a key destination for beauty brands and suppliers.

“The beauty industry is booming, especially with urban Indian consumers, and attracting both national and international exhibitors,” said Samir Srivastav, the CEO of LOOKS Salon Group.

Cosmoprof India represented one of the destinations of the Cosmoprof network, together with Bologna, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Bangkok and, starting from 2024, Miami and Riyadh.

Over 450 brands and exhibitors showcased their latest launches and novelties, coming from 19 countries and regions.

The first day comprised an awards ceremony to honor pioneering beauty mavericks, and the jury included names like makeup artist Namrata Soni and journalist Nandini Bhalla.

The list of winners ranged from Micro Crystal Essence South Korea to Olaplex/Streamline Beauty India. The prizes were presented with attention paid to innovation, a sustainable approach, and successful storytelling. The evening concluded with an exclusive fashion show presenting the collection of Indian designer Vikram Phadnis. Check out his collection below.
