Counting Crows, ‘Up All Night (Frankie Miller Goes to Hollywood Cover)’ [Live]

Band on tour on their Outlaw Roadshow

Published by

“I guess I like ”˜Frankie Miller Goes to Hollywood’ because we’re all onstage together,” says Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz. It makes total sense, especially after you check out this recent live clip of the band performing the track from their 2002 record Hard Candy surrounded by friends. The group is currently out on their Outlaw Roadshow tour behind their latest record, a collection of covers, Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did on Our Summer Vacation).

“There’s something about a summer like this that stays with you,” added Duritz. “I think I’m going to look at this film of the Outlaw Roadshow years from now and think about Foreign Fields and Filligar and Ryan’s Smashing Life and Good Old War and remember the summer we created something that was very cool and totally unforgettable.”
