Last month, French EDM icon David Guetta and Dutch producer Martin Garrix attended the launch of Tag Heuer’s latest offering, the AQUARACER Black Titanium watch in Ibiza, Spain. Both DJs are Tag Heuer’s brand ambassadors and according to the Swiss watchmakers, they embody the brand’s #DontCrackUnderPressure motto. The two joined Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and Chairman of the Watch Division of the LVMH Group at the brand’s exclusive base, Villa Puig Redo, for the event.

Says Biver about Tag Heuer’s association with the producers, “A link to the future and to younger generations is a necessary part of our DNA. I am very proud to have David Guetta and Martin Garrix as our ambassadors. They perfectly encapsulate the #DontCrackUnderPressure mindset and enable us to connect our brand to the youth of today, simply because they speak the same language.”

At the launch, the DJs were also joined by superstar footballers Albert Luque, Michel Salgado, Joan Capdevila, Aitor Ocio, Fernando Morientes, Gaizka Mendieta, Marcos Senna and Fernando Sanz of the Spanish football association La Liga.

Guetta (who is also the composer of the EURO 2016 anthem “This One’s For You”), Garrix and Biver kicked off the upcoming La Liga season by taking the TAG Heuer Football Challenge and then engaged in an impromptu football match with all the players to celebrate.
