The signs have been there for a while now. After a false alarm in July this year [which turned out to be Hardwell’s two-city tour], news of Canadian electronica superstar, Deadmau5, making his India debut is now confirmed. For Deadmau5, who recently piqued the interest of all mouse heads in India when he tweeted “but man… when it does go down… I cannot wait to come check out India! It’ll be my first time” on September 26th, the wait’s not too long as the EDM superstar tours the country in March 2014.Â
Deadmau5, who is currently on a Soundcloud spree [he has put up six songs in the last 48 hours], will kickstart his three-city India tour with stopovers in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru, as part of the Sunburn Arena. “Deadmau5 was a very awaited and exciting partnership for Sunburn. We are happy to be part of history when he goes live on 14th, 15th, 16th March 2014 in India. It will be beyond epic,” confirmed Shailendra Singh, joint managing director of Percept Ltd, the agency that organizes the country’s best known EDM festival, Sunburn.
