Looks like Diplo can’t get enough of India. While his dancehall-inspired project Major Lazer toured India in December 2014, the producer ”“ whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz ”“ had hinted in September last year that Major Lazer would return to India.

Not only are they returning to India, Pentz is bringing his event property Mad Decent Block Party to three cities between February 19th and 21st in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The tour takes place as part of electronica festival Sunburn’s 10th anniversary celebrations, in association with electronica gig organizers Oji, who previously brought down UK dubstep pioneers Skeam & Benga.

In addition to Major Lazer, the Mad Decent Block Party will feature UK house and garage duo Gorgon City, American electronic outfit Big Gigantic, EDM producer Giraffage and Indian music producer Nucleya featuring rapper Naezy on the lineup.

Diplo, who is also part of the dancehall-inspired Major Lazer, is no stranger to India. He had volunteered in the country with the Red Cross in his early twenties and then returned to tour in 2014. Pentz and Major Lazer also shot the video for their 2015 megahit “Lean On”, which has garnered over a billion views on YouTube. “I couldn’t be more excited to return this year,” Pentz said in a statement. He added, “Being able to bring Mad Decent Block Party to India is a huge accomplishment, and all of us in Major Lazer are excited to be back in India bringing the carnival to the fans.”

The Mad Decent Block party kicks off in Bangalore on the 19th of February 2016, followed by Delhi on 20th February and Mumbai on 21st February.
