The rumor mills are churning yet again and this time with the news of an India tour by the former members of the legendary British rock band Dire Straits.

According to a report by DNA, Dire Straits’ saxophonist Chris White and drummer Chris Witten will be performing in Gurugram and Bengaluru on March 17th and 19th, respectively. The former Dire Straits band mates are currently part of an ensemble called The Dire Straits Experience and will be accompanied by guitarist and vocalist Terence Reis. The band will reportedly perform some of Dire Straits’ biggest hits, including “Sultans of Swing,” “Tunnel of Love,” “Money for Nothing” and more.

NewsX reveals that the shows are a part of Seagrams 100 Pipers’ Play for a Cause and a large part of the proceeds will be used to build water conservation structures in an aim to provide sustainable drinking water to seven villages in Rajasthan.

Seagrams 100 Pipers’ Play for a Cause has seen various artists participating in the past in an effort to give back to those in need. 2016’s lineup included New Delhi rock band Parikrama, Bollywood singer Shilpa Rao, Bollywood producer Ehsaan Noorani, singer-songwriter Monica Dogra and more.
