DIVINE and Karan Aujla Light Up the Dharavi DREAM Project in Video For ‘Nothing Lasts’
The track is off their recently released collaborative album ‘Street Dreams’
Mumbai-based The Dharavi DREAM Project (TDDP), heralded as Asia’s premier after-school of hip-hop, recently played host to two distinguished guests: rapper DIVINE and Canadian-based multi-talented artist Karan Aujla. The purpose of their visit was to give back to the community, which can also be seen in the recently released music video for their collaboration on “Nothing Lasts,” off the seven-track record Street Dreams.
The students at TDDP seized the extraordinary opportunity to exhibit their skills before the two artists. Apart from shooting a slick clip, DIVINE and Aujla went a step further by arranging giveaways for the students.
Dolly Rateshwar, Director & Co-Founder of The Dharavi DREAM Project, said in a statement, “We are honored to have Vivian Divine and Karan Aujla visit our project and inspire our young talents. Their generosity and commitment to giving back to the community align perfectly with our mission of empowering under-resourced Talents through hip-hop.”
Beyond the realm of music, DIVINE and Aujla collaborated with The Dharavi DREAM Project and Hemkunt Foundation to provide free Langar seva (community kitchen service) to the residents of Dharavi.
The Dharavi DREAM Project stands as a beacon of hope, revolutionizing education by empowering underprivileged youth through the medium of hip-hop. By identifying, nurturing, and showcasing talent from underserved areas, TDDP amplifies voices and cultivates opportunities for growth and success on a global scale.
