DIVINE and Karan Aujla Drop Long-Anticipated ‘100 Million’ Collab

It’s only the high stakes game for DIVINE and Karan Aujla now, as they flex on “100 Million,” their first collaboration together. With a music video shot in Dubai, the star artists are setting new goals this year.

Marketed and distributed via Mass Appeal India, the DIVINE-Aujla team-up was originally announced in November, with the Mumbai rapper posting a photo together on his Instagram with the caption “100 million.” The artists have since been lifting the veil on not just the now-released single, but more material together, from Aujla featuring on DIVINE’s upcoming fourth full-length album and the Mumbai rapper mentioning online that they have “more than six songs together.”

The first of those, “100 Million,” gives us a glimpse of the charged-up potential between the artists. Over a roomy beat produced by Portland artists Trox aka Samuel Troxel and Samarei aka Sam Waldo, DIVINE and Aujla bring their best bars. In the music video directed by filmmaker Rupan Bal, the artists ride dunes in Dubai and shoot in rooms with the biggest skyline views to portray their place at the top.

Karan Aujla said in a statement about the song, “This is an exciting time for the Indian music scene and it was cool working with DIVINE on this song and project that shows our journey and growth as artists over the years. DIVINE is crazy talented and I’m really happy with what we made when we linked up. It’s my gift to all my fans on my birthday, who have always been with me from the start.”

DIVINE added in his statement, “Karan is amongst the most talented songwriters and artists of our generation and we really hit it off creatively when we met in the studio. We both share similarities in our journeys growing up and coming up, this one’s for the streets and for our fans! Rupan Bal and his team did an incredible job on the video, much love to them!”
