Veteran producer and rap duo team up for clever lyric video off DJ Shadow's new album

A crisp aesthetic dominates the lyric video for “Nobody Speak,” DJ Shadow’s explosive collaboration with Run The Jewels. The frame moves in ordered ways, with text often appearing hemmed in by clean geometric shapes. But nothing can contain the words of El-P and Killer Mike ”“ as the song progresses, the two MCs trade increasingly volatile lines. Shadow and Run The Jewels are slated to perform the track Tuesday evening on The Tonight Show.
The Mountain Will Fall marks the veteran producer’s first LP since 2011’s The Less You Know, The Better. Guests include Run The Jewels, Nils Frahm, Matthew Halsall, G Jones, and more. Shadow previously unveiled “Bergschrund” and the title track.
