Dub Inc Release 4 Free Tracks To Indian Audiences
The French reggae-dancehall band will also perform at the SulaFest 2016 in Nashik this weekend
Rihanna might have got a global buzz going by putting out her latest album Anti for free download, but closer home, European reggae band Dub Inc are celebrating their return to India by offering free music exclusively to Indian audiences. The band has released four tracks from their three studio albums, which are available for free download till February 7th, 2016.
The tracks available for download include “Revolution” and “Better Run” from their album Paradise [2013], “Rude Boy” from Dub Inc’s first album Diversité [2003] and “Tout ce qu’ils veulent” from Hors Contrôle [2010].
Dub Inc had last visited India in 2012 during their Paradise Tour and played shows in Mumbai and Delhi. This year they will be performing at the gourmet world music festival, Sulafest, to be held in Nashik this coming weekend.
Talking about their upcoming performance, the band’s drummer Gregory Mavridorakis aka Zigo says, “The audience will get a mix of our main hits.They will hear all the different styles that make Dub Inc special, from reggae to dancehall, dub and oriental traditional music.” The band is also known for recording songs in French, English and Kabyle [a Berber language native to Algeria] apart from performing a whole host of genres.
Dub Inc is currently recording a new album which they plan to release in September 2016, followed by a 2-year world tour starting in October.
