The theme of the festival this year is ‘Symphony of Seasons,’ based on the cycles of change and growth in nature, signaling how the planet adjusts to changes and overcomes obstacles. At its core, the festival will underscore that the protection and restoration of our natural ecosystems critically depend on traditional practices we modern humans have forgotten about or dismissed as irrelevant to contemporary survival.
In a recent press release, festival founder and director Roshan Netalkar highlighted the significance of this year’s theme, which reflects the importance of preserving the natural balance of our ecosystem. The festival aims to raise awareness through art, music, and meaningful discussions, with gratitude extended to the partners whose support makes it all possible.
Among the newer offerings at the upcoming edition is a campaign called The Greener Side, aiming to inform the public about important conservation properties and how they can make meaningful connections with nature. The Greener Side provides an extensive educational experience that would be more under creative experiences such as art, music, and different developmental education through our amazing natural world. You really can’t beat getting your hands dirty and feeling the soil between your fingers.
Key attractions at this year’s festival include an environment-friendly solar-powered stage, large art installations, four uniquely designed stages with over 50 artists lined up, educational workshops for kids and of course on day two, there’s even a special brunch curated specially by performing artists, plus a flea market called ‘Wonder Flea’ which has organic handmade products.
Following the Bengaluru edition, Echoes of Earth heads to Goa for its second iteration, taking place on Feb. 1 and 2, 2025.
