Set against the backdrop of Goa’s lush landscapes and rich culture, Echoes of Earth seamlessly integrated the ethos of sustainability and conservation with the pulsating beats of art, culture, and music. Under the theme ‘Ensemble of the Wild,’ the festival put the spotlight on Goa’s diverse ecosystems, moving beyond its famed beaches to showcase its thriving wildlife.

Partnering with local environmental champions, grassroots organizations, and the Government of Goa, Echoes of Earth ignited a renewed appreciation for Goa’s natural wonders. By curating an immersive festival experience tailored for art enthusiasts, music lovers, and eco-conscious individuals alike, the event made for a haven for creativity and environmental stewardship.

Spanning across a sprawling 100-acre landscape in Chopdem, Echoes of Earth hosted over 40 international and local artists across four meticulously crafted stages, offering attendees an unforgettable journey through sound and visuals. In addition to the stellar lineup of musical performances, the festival also featured a vibrant array of art installations, educational workshops, cultural showcases, and a sustainable flea market with eco-friendly brands.

Drawing inspiration from the biodiversity hotspot of the Western Ghats, Echoes of Earth’s thematic focus underscores the interconnectedness of nature’s wonders. Collaborating with esteemed partners such as the Goa Tourism Board, Goa State Biodiversity Board, WWF-INDIA, and Felis Films, the festival is committed to championing the conservation efforts aimed at preserving Goa’s delicate ecosystems.

Roshan Netalkar, the visionary Founder & Festival Director of Echoes of Earth, shared his passion for the project, emphasizing the festival’s potential to catalyze environmental awareness and responsible tourism. Netalkar envisions Echoes of Earth as a catalyst for positive change, inspiring communities to embrace sustainable practices and preserve Goa’s natural heritage.

With Echoes of Earth’s inaugural edition in Goa now done, it has signaled a new era of conscious celebration in the heart of India’s coastal paradise.
