Editor’s Pick: Assamese Act Jazz Miles Get Into Flower Power Grooves on ‘That Is Me’

The quartet comprises guitarist Rohan Sen, keyboardist Pritam Boro, vocalist Bibs Daimary and drummer Maram Mahanta

Among the newer bands launched with prolific artists like keyboardist Pritam Boro and guitarist Rohan Sen, Jazz Miles’ new song “That Is Me” shows off improv flair and free-spirited lyrics.

Between Silchar-bred Sen’s nimble and subtle fretwork and Guwahati keyboardist Boro leaping into dexterous rhythms, Jazz Miles is completed by drummer Maram Mahanta (from the band Living Stones and OKESA) and vocalist Bibs Daimary.

Jazz Miles, who have been around since 2021 and perform around the North East, are presently working on another release in July, all part of an upcoming album.
