Kolkata thrash metal band Dreadhammer have released the first track off their upcoming debut full-length album Sovereign, with a music video for “Atomic Pulse.”

Channeling all the thrash metal greats, Dreadhammer — comprising vocalist-guitarist Rishav Bhattacharya, guitarist Supriyo Dawn, bassist Soumava Chatterjee and drummer Rohan Bakshi — walk the fine line between polished and primal on “Atomic Pulse.”

The music video filmed and produced by Yudhajit Dey, the band are seen performing the song in all its intensity, from the anthem-like hooks to a searing solo.

Sovereign will be launched on June 18th with a gig called Hammer Assault in Kolkata, where Dreadhammer will perform alongside bands like Aarlon, Good as Gross, Speedtrip, Mustang and more.
