Enrique Iglesias may be mopping more newsprint for his sex appeal and acting cameos than his music, but the pop star is finally making headlines for what he was once known for.  The Latin singer, who recently turned down the offer to judge American Idol, is set to return to the Indian stage, with a three-city tour next month. With tickets priced at a whopping Rs. 2,500, Rs. 8,000 and Rs 15,000 for VIP tickets, we are not sure whether the yesteryear popstar will performed to a packed audience, but  he sounded optimistic when he said, “It’s been a long time since my last tour in India and I have been dying to come back and perform in front of one of the best and craziest crowds in the world! I’m excited about this visit and promise to give a great show and do my best so everyone has a great time”¦.. it’s going to be awesome.”

Iglesias, who won many fans in teenage girls in the early noughties with  pop hits like “Hero,” “Bailamos” and “Love To See You Cry” will perform in Pune [Amanora Park Town], Gurgaon [HUDA Grounds] and Bengaluru [to be confirmed] on October 17th, 19th and 21st respectively. While his fanbase may have aged since his performance eight years ago (he performed in Bengaluru and Mumbai in 2004), we aren’t sure whether his decade-old setlist has.
