Eric Prydz Announces India Shows in October
The Swedish progressive house DJ-producer will return to India to perform in New Delhi and Mumbai
DJ-producer Eric Prydz is back in India after eight years this October, announcing two stadium shows in New Delhi on Oct. 4 and in Mumbai on Oct. 5.
Prydz will perform at New Delhi’s IGI Stadium, followed by a set at Dome SVP Stadium in Mumbai in what has been a long-rumored announcement. The artist behind songs like “We Are Mirage,” “Allein” and “Opus” last performed in 2017, headlining the Vh1 Supersonic festival in Pune.
Prydz says, “Returning to India is incredibly special to me. The energy and passion of the Indian audience are truly unique, and I’m excited to witness it live with them. It’s been an incredible journey over two decades, and to celebrate it in such a dynamic country is an honor. Get ready for an immersive experience!” The Swedish progressive house stalwart is known for creating multi-dimensional sensory experiences, most recently debuting Holosphere 2.0 during his residency at Ibiza’s UNIVRS—where he plays inside an LED technology-rigged metal ball that projects holograms and transforms into glowing orbs, giant eyeballs, and other space-inspired visuals.
Tickets will be exclusively available on District, with a pre-sale tickets for HSBC cardholders going live on the District app from 12 pm on Aug. 19 until Aug. 21, 12 pm. Team Innovation co-founder Mohit Bijlani adds, “Fans can expect an auditory and visual spectacle that redefines electronic music performance, solidifying India’s position on the global dance music map.”
