The band were recently crowned winners of the Parx Band Hunt 2018
Chennai alt rockers Oddsox aren’t resting on their recent success. The band, who this past October had the odds in their favor when they hit the jackpot by winning the third edition of Parx Band Hunt, are now out with their debut single and music video, the murky “Drown.”
In the clip, directed by Chennai-based Balaji Sripathy Sridhar, the group is seen performing the song in a warehouse in between shots of vocalist-guitarist Neil Cornelius running through a forest, playing chess by himself and closing with him burning a letter. As for the song, it is a slow burner rock track with a catchy melody and also features a sublime solo by guitarist Andrew Deepak.
Next, the group plan on releasing a follow-up single to “Drown” and are also plotting for more live shows in the country.
