Delhi prog rock band The Uncertainty Principle’s guitarist Abhishek Rajan explains that “The Orb” was the first song their new vocalist Shashank Chandak worked on after joining the band in April this year. Chandak and the band’s manager, Aastha Bhardwaj, rewrote the song, looking to psychological themes related to the subconscious for lyrical inspiration.Â
 The band wrote and started playing “The Orb” at gigs late last year.Â
