Jin and Dolby Laboratories collaborate on his new single “I’ll Be There,” as part of Dolby’s “Love More in Dolby” global brand campaign, which offers innovative immersive experiences in music, cinema, games, and more via Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

“I’ll Be There” is part of Jin’s maiden solo album, Happy, scheduled for release on November 15 in Dolby Atmos. Jin’s music in Dolby Atmos offers a richer listening experience, with different emotions that contribute to the feeling of happiness central to the album’s theme. The K-pop superstar features in the commercial “Love Jin More in Dolby,” performing “I’ll Be There,” a rockabilly number available now within Dolby Atmos’s surround sound.

The commercial, directed by prominent American filmmaker, music video director, and television commercial director Colin Tilley, taps into Dolby Atmos’ revolutionary capacity in enriching music— “reinventing how songs are made and experienced”—and highlights it with “I’ll Be There.” The track fusing the best of both worlds—rock and roll and country music sounds—stands out in Dolby Atmos as Jin delivers a powerful rendition.

Dolby Atmos is a multidimensional hearing experience, juxtaposed to regular listening experiences. It claims to dip you in music by accentuating all of its nuances and spatial cues. Nothing beats listening to music in Dolby Atmos—whether it’s getting a wash of melodies, feeling the variety of sounds, or the most minute details in a song—in essence, it gives artistic expressions unmatched depth and clarity.

“When I first heard my new music in Dolby Atmos, I was truly amazed by the incredibly vivid and immersive experience,” Jin says in Dolby’s press release announcing their collaboration. “It felt like you are right inside the music.” Through “I’ll Be There” and Happy, he hopes BTS Army will feel different kinds of happiness and adds, “With Dolby Atmos, I believe fans around the world will feel the exact emotions that I wanted to share, more deeply.”

Todd Pendleton, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Dolby Laboratories, shares that “With Dolby Atmos, fans will feel even more connected to Jin as they are drawn into the fun sing-along moments and musical details of ‘I’ll Be There’ and his upcoming album.”

Dolby Atmos Music can be enjoyed on popular streaming services, including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Tidal, QQ Music, Melon, and others. Jin and Dolby’s alliance is a recent development in Dolby’s “Love More in Dolby” campaign, which seeks to draw the spotlight on the creative possibilities through Dolby.

The press release reads, “It celebrates the full potential of Dolby’s latest audio and video innovations, like Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, which bring a mesmerizing picture and multidimensional sound to your music, movies, shows, games, and sports. The series of short videos will also follow entertainment enthusiasts on a journey of discovery as they experience new depths of emotion and connect deeper to the artists, characters, and stories they love—which is made possible when enjoyed in Dolby.”
