Boy George to headline F1 Rocks Afterparties. Marc Vedo, The Cuban Brothers and Seb Fontaine to also perform
The official word is out. F1 Rocks released the final lineup of artistes performing at the F1 Rocks and F1 Rocks Afterparties to be held around the Indian Grand Prix from October 28 to 30, New Delhi. The 30,000 capacity Leisure valley grounds at Noida will be the holy ground for Metallica, Scottish rock act Biffy Clyro and a lucky Indian band, chosen by MTV’s reality show talent hunt to share stage.
But F1 Rocks recently released Afterparties lineup promises a hell of a time on the first and the last day of the race. Flamboyant ”˜80s Brit cross-dresser Boy George will headline the Afterparties console, along with trance DJ Seb Fontaine, The Cuban Brothers, Marc Vedo and Virgin’s reserve race car driver Sakon Yamamoto who will take turns switching spinning duties with Boy George.
The first Afterparty will be held on October 28, post the Metallica gig, at Crowne Plaza, New Delhi with Seb Fontaine and The Cuban Brothers and is expected to be attended by the metal giants as well.
The closing Afterparty will be hosted at the Durbar Hall, Taj Palace with Boy George, Marc Vedo and Sakon Yamamoto entertaining the F1 drivers, musicians and their entourage amongst a host of celebrities.
Lady Gaga’s after party is not a part of F1 Rocks and her gig is a private invite-only performance to be attended by a select-few, pre-booked 1,500 guests to be held at Lap the Club.
However, to score a gate-pass to these exclusive Afterparties, you will have to shed generously.
