Faridkot is a five piece pop-rock band from New Delhi that was formed in 2008. Faridkot made it big after winning the Radio City- RC Live for Delhi region.

Faridkot were finalists of the 2009 Channel [V] Launchpad, and have been featured on various radio programs.

The band has been playing extensively across the country since.

Raheja, who is on the keyboards, has been playing in the Delhi rock circuit with Frequency, which was in the finals of Channel [V] Launchpad 2007. He also performs with sarangi maestro Kamal Sabri. Bassist Pacheco, has been playing on and off in the scene for over 8 years. Currently a part of Delhi Funk Rock and Blues band Hypnosis, he has performed in various festivals all over the country. Recently he won the Bass Player of the Year award at The Jack Daniel’s Legendary Mash Indian Rock Awards 2008. The band had a change in line up, with Mendiratta taking over drums, whereas it was Reuben Narain who played previously. Finally, the guitarist Sanyal, is also a part of Hypnosis, and he had won the Best Guitar Player at Radio City RC Live National Finals.faridkot
