These four-episode mini-series are ideal for you to catch up on amid your hectic schedules if you love watching K-dramas but are running out of time with routine tasks and duty calls.

U-Turn (2008)

A stray object bangs into Jisub’s (So Ji-sub) car as he heads home in a downpour. When he opens the container, he is awed to see a beautiful but befuddled girl with no memories. She is brought to Jisub’s house, where he lives with his two other brothers. The girl settles into their home, then abruptly she recollects matters. On the other side, an eerie and unsettling truth is unveiled.

Twenty Years Old (2014)

After graduating from high school, two 20-year-olds, Kim Hye-rim (Lee Da-in) and Lee Ki-kwang (Lee Ki-kwang), reconnect as grownups. At the time of their meeting, Ki-kwang is an idol from a famed band; the chance encounter triggers love, but they must not make it public. The plot follows what transpires in their lives as they are secretly dating.

You Drive Me Crazy (2018)

When Kim Rae-wan (Kim Seon-ho), an artist, and Han Eun-sung (Lee Yoo-young), a French translator, share a bed, their long-standing friendship takes a dramatic turn. As romantic sentiments reveal understandings that the two had shied away from because of their friendship, things grow melodramatic.

Everything and Nothing (2019)

This romance K-drama explores the course of maturing from adolescence to adulthood while navigating harsh realities. Teenagers Min-jae (Yoon Chan-young) and Seo-yeon (Park Si-eun) are in the same school. While Seo-yeon is academically mediocre, Min-jae is bright. She plays the piano and aspires to enroll in an arts high school but fails, much to her dismay. As life turns tougher, they begin to sense an affinity with each other in their common grounds—the pain they experience throughout their formative years.

Soundtrack #1 (2022)

Friends for years, Han Sun-woo (Park Hyung-sik) is a rookie photographer, and Seo Eun-soo (Han So-hee) is a songwriter. Eun-soo is gregarious and straightforward, but Sun-woo is composed and considerate. Their camaraderie takes on a lot more as they begin collaborating on music while living together. The musical mini-series is an appealing, slow-burning love story, offering a more plausible account of how there’s just a very thin line between friendship and romance. Sun-woo’s naturally passionate eyes are an ongoing fountain of love, as seen by the way he never stops looking for Eun-soo. Still, she dismisses that until the last minute, when she knows she is in love with him—most ardently.
