DJs Fisher and Chris Lake Announce ‘Bollywood Boulevard’ Show in Mumbai in April
Touted as a cinema-inspired street music festival, the Australian and British DJ-producers will take over Ballard Estate for the India debut of the series which previously look over Hollywood Boulevard

Australian DJ-producer Fisher and British electronic artist Chris Lake are bringing their Under Construction gig series’ acclaimed Hollywood Boulevard show to Mumbai on Apr. 20, 2025, promising a cinema-inspired street music festival called Bollywood Boulevard taking place at Ballard Estate.

Fisher previously performed a stadium show at Mumbai’s Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium in April 2024, while Lake has toured India as early as 2013. Their B2B set, known as Hollywood Boulevard, took place in October 2023, reportedly drawing tens of thousands for a celebration that took over three blocks of the Los Angeles landmark.
A press release states that Fisher and Lake’s Hollywood Boulevard show took about four years of planning, including coordination between city officials, law enforcement and local stakeholders and we imagine it’s a similar undertaking in store to host Bollywood Boulevard at Ballard Estate in Mumbai.
A press release states that the show “promises to transform South Mumbai’s colonial-era business district into an unprecedented open-air electronic music sanctuary.” The India debut of Under Construction will bring “a vibrant fusion of dance music, cinematic heritage and street-party culture” to a sundowner setting.
The production of Bollywood Boulevard involves setting up a 360° revolving center stage, set design features including “Bollywood-inspired Walk Of Fame, red carpet-style entrances, vintage film posters and marquee lights reminiscent of grand film premieres.” The event also promises 3D mapping, state-of-the-art lighting, special effects and experiential zones on ground, plus a curated flea market, culinary experiences and adventure themed zones, calling Under Construction “a family-friendly celebration.”
Fisher says in a statement, “We’ve shut down Hollywood Boulevard, and now we’re taking on Bollywood! Chris and I are bringing the ‘Under Construction’ mayhem to Mumbai, and it’s gonna be absolutely mental. Expect the unexpected, because we’re about to turn Ballard Estate into the biggest dance floor you’ve ever seen!”
Lake adds in his statement, “Bollywood Boulevard is about pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable moments. Fisher and I are bringing our A-game to Mumbai, and we can’t wait to share our music with you in this incredible setting. We’re creating a unique experience that blends the energy of our music with the vibrant culture of India. Get ready for a night of cutting-edge tech-house under the open skies of Mumbai!”
