Five Reasons To Head To Genesis Foundation’s Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival

Indus Creed performing at the third edition of Genesis Foundation’s Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival

1) The Music

The fourth edition of the two-day festival will feature some of the best artists in the country including singer Rabbi Shergill from Delhi, Mumbai rock band Indus Creed frontman’s Uday Benegal’s acoustic band, Whirling Kalapas, and Kolkata rock band The Supersonics among the 10 bands on the lineup.

2) The Venue

The Shivalik hills of Kasauli form a stunning backdrop for the music fest. When not at Baikunth Resort, where the fest is held, you can take a walk around the market with its cobbled streets or laze around with a book at one of the many fruit orchards that the hill station is known for ”“ make a trip out of this destination music fest.

3) The Long Weekend

The festival is being organized on the Easter weekend (April 3rd-5th, 2015), so there is no need for you to miss a day of school, college or work to attend the festival.

4) Nostalgia

The festival also presents the perfect chance to relive the Nineties as Suneeta Rao takes to stage with her band, Paree Forever.

5) It’s a Good Cause

Organized by the Genesis Foundation, all the proceeds from the festival will be donated towards treatment of critically ill children.
