We caught up with the Canadian comedian and YouTube celeb, Superwoman, aka Lilly Singh, who will perform in India tonight
With over two million followers on Twitter and more than 600 million views on her videos, Superwoman is back in the country for the second edition of YouTube FanFest
1. Superwoman’s first video in 2010 was a serious spoken-word piece. But that phase ended quickly. “I thought to myself that I am a weirdo in real life so I should be a weirdo in my videos as well,” she says.
2. Before Singh goes up on stage, she does a seven-clap routine every time. “I feel this switches me into Superwoman mode,” she explains.
3. Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan admitted that he watches her videos when he has trouble falling asleep. “And I was like, “Can you record this so I can make it my ring tone right now?” she says.
