Bret McKenzie makes an entrance at the Oscars Red Carpet

The indie will be proud. One half of Flight Of The Conchords’ Bret McKenzie made for an unlikely guest at the 84th Academy Awards, that were announced this morning. But McKenzie was a star for the night, when his composition “Man Or Muppet,” sung by Jason Segal, won the Oscar for Best Original Song.

McKenzie,  was musical supervisor on The Muppets, a role that involved overseeing the songs on the film and writing three himself.
