Kayan – “plenty”
In a refreshing turn, Mumbai singer Kayan’s newest offering is the melancholic and heartfelt “plenty.” With emotional lyrics that sit upon delicate guitar work, the song hits home before it opens up towards the end for a euphoric finish. In a statement, Kayan said, “’plenty feels like a song I’ve been wanting to write for a long time. It comes from a very real space, real experience and real feelings that I’ve poured out into what’s a fresh sound for me as an artist too. It encapsulates the bittersweet symphony of maturity, reflecting the inevitable evolution of relationships. It’s about acknowledging the richness gained in letting go.”
Corner Café Chronicles – “Paradise Drive”
Mumbai electro-rockers Corner Café Chronicles’ newest offering comes in the shape of the dreamy instrumental number entitled “Paradise Drive.” The track includes a variety of dynamics as well as lush yet gritty soundscapes. In a statement, the band said, “The track is inspired from late night monsoon drives across Mumbai.”
Sanjana B – “Relentless”
Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Sanjana B’s latest single is the electro-pop offering “Relentless.” The song features catchy hooks, vibrant synths, a dancey groove as well as Sanjana’s velvety vocals. In a statement, the artist said, “’Relentless’ is about our greed and our relentless desire for more than what we have. It talks about how we become more and more vulnerable in our endless chase.”
