Linfomation – “Worship”
Mumbai-based drummer-producer Linford Dsouza aka Linfomation – who has previously sat behind the kit for bands such as BLEK and Small Talk – is now out with the first offering from his forthcoming four-track debut EP Move in the shape of the melodic electro track “Worship.” The song includes a groovy beat, ambient soundscapes, and an overall dancey vibe. The rest of the tracks off Move are set to be released in a piecemeal fashion every Tuesday till February 7th and feature collaboratons with rappers Enkore and Brandon as well as singer-songwriter Perp.
Sharanya Ghosh – “Mann Bawra Re”
Mumbai singer-songwriter Sharanya Ghosh’s debut single “Mann Bawra Re” orchestrates an enchanting fusion of Indian semi-classical melodies and contemporary beats. The dynamic track explores the theme of life’s relentless pursuit. Sitar solos by Mehtab Ali Niazi and soulful Sarangi harmonies by Vanraj Shastri complement Ghosh’s expressive vocals. The song is also accompanied by a music video that captures Mumbai’s heart, portraying the rhythmic chaos of urban life, while a classical dance by Tamanna Tanna adds a contemporary touch.
