Rushaki – Princess Isolation
Goa-based singer-songwriter-producer Rushaki is out with a brand new five-track EP entitled Princess Isolation. Sonically, the record covers dream-pop soundscapes juxtaposed with darker sonic elements that make for quite an interesting listen. The EP covers topics such as ambition, escapism, imposter syndrome, self-worth and resilience.
Fall St. – “The Boogeyman”
Mumbai singer-songwriter Aaron Sequeira aka Fall St. newest offering comes in the shape of the dystopian yet euphoric rock track entitled “The Boogeyman.” The artist’s quick-paced vocal delivery accompanied by distorted guitars and pulsating drums sit splendidly together. In a statement, the musician said, “’The Boogeyman’ is a cautionary tale. A sort of ‘be careful what you wish for.’ If you choose to walk down a road that says it takes you to fame and fortune, you’re probably going to find other things there you don’t necessarily want to meet.”
Azamaan Hoyvoy, Kamakshi Khanna – “Bewajah”
Mumbai-based artists Azamaan Hoyvoy and Kamakshi Khanna collaborate on the pop earworm “Bewajah.” Both artists showcase their lush vocals and harmonies across the track while a bouncy beat and layered production elements help give the song a lift. In a statement, the artists said, “’Bewajah’ unfolds the narrative of a young woman navigating past addiction, embracing fleeting yet profound connections in her quest for empowerment and understanding.”
