Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Punya’s new poignant song “Chal Gale Lag” goes beyond music to offer a heartfelt plea for connection and belonging. This evocative song captures the profound sense of missing loved ones when relocating to a new place. It articulates the universal longing for familiar people and places that define us, particularly amidst the uncertainties of change and distance. “Chal Gale Lag” serves as a poignant reminder of how deeply we miss our close ones. In a statement, Punya said, “The feeling of missing the people and places that shaped us is universal and nothing really replaces the warmth of a hug.”

Shia, Irfana, Zero Chill – “Stunnin”

The new track “Stunnin” is a powerful drill rap anthem from hip-hop artists Shia and Irfana. The track, produced by Mumbai-based Zero Chill, exudes confidence and delves into themes of success, empowerment and sexuality. Shia and Irfana assert their dominance with rapid-fire verses packed with punchlines and attitude. The song’s dynamic flows and bold lyrics make “Stunnin” a fierce celebration of self-assurance and unapologetic pride. In a statement, the artists said, “The [music] video’s unapologetic embrace of sensuality and confidence sends a powerful message that women can assert their sexuality on their own terms, without being objectified or exploited for the male gaze.”

Yohan Marshall, Mali – “Just For Once”

The song serves as a comforting companion, addressing themes of overcoming adversity and dismantling limiting beliefs.
