Adi Rao — Thoughts Freeze

Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Adi Rao’s debut EP, “Thoughts Freeze,” delves into his collegiate experiences in Manipal, navigating themes of longing, love, and self-discovery. With a sound reminiscent of Americana, Folk, and Pop, Rao and his band craft melodic narratives akin to John Mayer, Paul Simon, and Phum Viphurit, reflecting on the joys and anxieties of growing older.

 Naisha — “Ada”

Naisha‘s latest track, “Ada,” channels the anguish of betrayal into a stirring ode to self-affirmation and empowerment. Hailing from Odisha and now based in Los Angeles, her multifaceted talents as a singer-songwriter, model, actress, writer, and DJ enrich her narrative, epitomizing the fusion of hip-hop, R&B, and South Asian music. In a statement, she said, “It’s [“Ada”] a fun song about heartbreak and the journey of getting over someone but still having that release in letting go and just accepting a tough situation.”
