Tanmaya Bhatnagar – “Quietly”

New Delhi singer-songwriter Tanmaya Bhatnagar has just shared a glimpse of her forthcoming four-track EP with the release of the quaint lead single “Quietly.” The delicate piano-led ballad juxtaposed with Bhatnagar’s honeyed vocals and poignant lyrics makes the song quite a somber and peaceful listen. Talking about the song, the artist said, “It intends to give meaning to the immense loneliness of not having someone around who could instantly make sense of all the emotions brimming inside without having to express them in words.” The singer-songwriter has also released a music video along with the track that captures the raw vulnerability of “Quietly.”

Govind Mishra – “Rains”

Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Govind Mishra’s debut single comes wrapped in alt-rock qualities in the shape of the punchy “Rains.” Mishra’s intriguing vocals sit perfectly on a bed of resilient guitars, drums and bass as his backing band of musicians featuring Hansel Dias, Hardik Mehta and Gaurav Hiwale help elevate the track. In a statement, Mishra said, “’Rains’ is a recollection of the times nostalgia got the better of me. In it, I recall conversations that could have changed everything, could have fixed what was broken. But they didn’t.”

Feeling Sunsets – & Time

Producer duo Scarr. and Haen aka Feeling Sunsets recently locked themselves up in a studio to craft an experimental genre-bending album. The result is a 10-track album entitled & Time, an amalgamation of various styles and sonic elements while also being an emotional and immersive record. With each song falling under two minutes, the artists said in a statement, “[We wanted] to create an album that tells one continuous emotional rollercoaster of a story.” Feeling Sunsets also worked on an accompanying visual for the album and added, “We told our story through two Lego characters exploring our studio from their perspective.”
