Corner Café Chronicles – “DIY GENERATION”
Mumbai-based experimental band Corner Café Chronicles delivers a sizzling new single with “DIY GENERATION” from the second part of their forthcoming album Renaissance II. The new track opens with energetic guitar strumming before breaking into punk rock rebellion with distortion, pulsating drums, quick-fire vocals as well as a face-melting outro solo. Through the song, the group urges the current generation to keep their eyes and ears open to “agendas and situations around them.” In a statement, the band said, “The song’s purpose is to aid people in the journey of thinking, question their surroundings, and find their identity amidst everything.”
Siddhant Mishra – Ehsaas
Visakhapatnam/Mumbai singer-songwriter Siddhant Mishra recently released his nine-track debut album Ehsaas which comes wrapped in heartbreak, nostalgia and more. Mishra’s influences of blues-rock, indie acoustic and ballads find a place all through the EP as his honeyed vocals are plastered quite effectively across the record. In a statement, the artist said, “This album is intended to be an experience, taking you on a journey through feelings, and by the end of it, I hope you feel positive and refreshed.”
Suyash Medh – “Tangy Antelope”
Today, Mumbai-based drummer and producer Suyash Medh dropped “Tangy Antelope”— the first of the four drum and bass tracks he’s worked on, the rest of which will be released in a piecemeal fashion this month. The complex track includes a booming bassline, intricate drum parts, synths, electronic elements as well as melodic sections that are bound to make you groove.
