Pratika – “Nothing Here”

Mumbai-based rapper, singer and producer Pratika’s newest offering is the blazing single “Nothing Here.” The track – produced by hip-hop artist Tienas – is wrapped in fiery trap beats while Pratika’s hard-hitting delivery and slick rhymes stand out as she uses puns and metaphors with her lyrics. In a statement, the artist said, “’Nothing Here’ calls out troublemakers and people who intend to harm others emotionally through acts against them. The song asks gossip mongers to walk away because there’s never any good in intending harm or spreading half-hearted and false information about someone.”

Junglee – “Haath Chhod Mera”

New Delhi multi-genre outfit Junglee’s neo-soul track “Haath Chhod Mera” is off their five-track EP Khwahishein and features infectious vocals, smooth instrumentation, blissful harmonies and more. The band said in a statement, “The song started with the basic intent of creating something that was youthful, so for three boys who spent their whole childhood in a boys school, it was easy for us to look back and laugh at our failed romantic excursions.”

Turnback Cave – “Voices / Words”

Kolkata rockers Turnback Cave’s latest single comes in the shape of the distortion-driven “Voices / Words” off their debut EP Letters to Another Life. The track includes a mesh of guitars while pulsating drums and soaring vocals add to the excitement of the track. In a statement, the band’s vocalist Arsh Das said, “I wrote the song back in 2018 when I was 17. The song revolves around the notion of closure, with the protagonist yearning for a sense of finality.”
