Sahil Shah – “Crumble And Fade Away”
Mumbai singer-songwriter Sahil Shah’s debut single “Crumble And Fade Away” comes neatly wrapped in plucked acoustic guitar parts, a delicate percussion groove, subtle vocals and an enchanting melody. In a statement, he said, “‘Crumble And Fade Away’ comes from a place of uncertainty and confusion; from endless thoughts that inhabit our minds; thoughts about being lost, dazed, stuck in a cycle of trying, hurting, falling, and trying again, until things eventually cease to exist.”
KAVYA – “Cold”
New Delhi singer-songwriter Kavya Trehan aka KAVYA recently released a new music video for her moody track “Cold” off her 2021 debut EP Know Me Better. The music video is set against a vast dreamy landscape, and the choreography involves the artist and dancing textiles. In a statement, KAVYA said, “This particular track was all about finding composure through closure. Throughout the EP I was motivated to explore different extremities of feelings. There was a desire to visualize.”
Shreya Jain – “Khoobi”
Nagpur-bred and Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Shreya Jain’s newest single is the R&B-laced electro-pop offering titled “Khoobi.” Jain’s dreamy vocals are a treat for the ears. The track is also accompanied with a slick music video in which the artist is seen performing the song dressed to the nines. In a statement, Jain said, “‘Khoobi’ is written from the perspective of a girl who gets infatuated by a guy’s strange charm, something she couldn’t comprehend. She’s drawn towards an unknown trait which coincidentally she possesses as well. She tries to figure out what she’s drawn towards while chasing him.”
