Sanjeeta Bhattacharya and Prabhtoj Singh – “Out of Tune”
New Delhi singer-songwriters Sanjeeta Bhattacharya and Prabhtoj Singh join forces on the ethereal new single entitled “Out of Tune.” The track brings together fingerstyle guitar work juxtaposed with Indian classical elements that make for a lush sound as the vocals on the track emit a calming soundscape. In a statement, the artists said, “‘Out of Tune’ speaks of love that was never aligned or attuned. You give a part of you to people who you share memories with and when reintroduced to it, you’re reminded of the vulnerabilities and insecurities that you thought were past you.”
Bharat Rajagopalan – writer’s block
Nagpur-bred multi-instrumentalist Bharat Rajagopalan recently released his nine-track full-length debut album writer’s block. The record houses wistful plucked guitar that showcases plenty of emotion. The desert-sounding LP is a soothing body of work, best heard when relaxing or when needing to calm down. Rajagopalan admits to struggling with anxiety, and he said in a statement, “This album is a collection of acoustic fingerstyle songs that I wrote over the past few years as a way of dealing with my anxiety.”
